My Adventures in Online Gambling

While I don't advocate gambling for a living, there are those who do earn extra money from it. A simple google search will result in many a product advertising no-loss gambling strategies to earn money playing blackjack, poker, roulette, and the list goes on. Its like most online products, you pay, download an e-book or program, and half the time after ordering you are offered an up-sale for another product. Try and google for reviews and there will be plenty of reviewers going on about how great the product is and promising the sun, the moon, and the stars, if you only try it out; of course close inspection will reveal an affiliate link!

So I was very interested when I came across the following website: http://comparethemarket.webs.com/

One of the entries was for an online gaming system that 'actually worked' playing roulette. I gave it a try, playing for fun NOT real money, with the following casinos: Rushmore, Cherry Red, and Slots Oasis. I played for fun using the method as outlined from the Compare The Market website. And guess what! I bankrolled, most unpleasantly, but like I said, it was for fun, so no real money lost. The system pretty much goes like this:

Make an outside bet of $1- Black or Red, Odd or Even, Lower 18 or Upper 18.

FYI, this is a roulette game table, it consists of numbered slots 0-36 and that are either colored black or red (with the exception of 0). The American version is the same, except it consists of an extra 00 slot. Players make there bets by placing their chips on the table. An inside bet is made by betting on a specific number (even zero) or set of numbers an outside bet is made by betting on the colors black/red, odd/even, 1-18/19-36, etc. The roulette wheel is then spun and subsequently where the ball lands determines the payouts to the house and/or the gamblers. By placing an outside bet, the player is almost guaranteed a 50/50 chance of winning. Because zero is almost always a win for the house, the chance of winning an outside bet is 18/37 approximately 48%.

Anyways, back to the system: Make any outside bet of $1. If the player loses, double the bet and keep doubling until a win. Once a bet is won, go back to the start by placing $1 bets.

For example:
Bet $1 on Red - Spin is Red - Win
Bet $1 on Black - Spin is Black - Win

Bet $1 on Black- Spin is Red - Loss
Bet $2 on Black - Spin is Red - Loss
Bet $4 on Black - Spin is Red - Loss
Bet $8 on Black - Spin is Black - Win

Bet $1 on Red - Spin is Red - Win

Go to the website to read more, but the idea is that it is statistically not likely that a streak will go more the eight spins without breaking. Consider how many spins it would take to bankroll: 1-2-4-8-16-32-64-128-bankroll. When I played for fun, I bankrolled plenty of times with 9-streaks, so I started waiting for at least 3-streaks before I even thought about doubling, I would just take the the $1 losses. I managed to double my fun accounts.

I then decided to take the plunge and try my method with real money, I put $500 into Cherry Red Casino, an amount I was willing to lose. I also managed to double it, that made me pretty happy. Of course, I withdrew my investment and just left the profits ~$610. I then switched to Rushmore Casino, and also managed to double my $500, but I kept on playing and quickly came accross a string of 14 and 15 streaks??? Those made me suspicious so I withdrew the other $500 in profits from Cherry Red Casino and called it quits. I had put $500 into each casino, $1000 total invested which I also withdrew, so no loss from my little adventure. I even have just over $100 in both real money casino accounts if I decide to try again or just play for fun.

I don't plan to really try again though, even though its a possibility to earn some extra bucks, roulette is just plain BORING. Nor do I have any interest in developing more problems than I already have!

Pajama Money Attempt 5 - Being lucky enough to win the Lottery!

Well, winning the lottery is certainly a way to make Pajama Money! A lot of pajama money. Unfortunately, for most of us, we will probably lose more money playing than we will ever win. Unless of course, there was a way to know the numbers, or at least know the most likely numbers that will be drawn. Knowing the statistics could greatly increase the odds of winning! A simple google search will yield many lottory systems advertising garanteed wins for any type of lottery known to man: Pick 3, Pick 4, Power Ball, you name it. Though I highly doubt the claims of these websites; afterall if they worked, wouldn't we see more lottery winners? I do find it intriguing the mathematics applied to determine the statistics of a random set of numbers.

Thus, I introduce an interesting website I found: www.lotterypost.com

I was browing around and came across an extremely easy number prediction system called the F17 system. Its designed for the Pick 3 Lottery, just take two consecutive winning numbers, subtract the two number sets, then add 17 to each digit, then its a matter of making the possible winning combinations. Here is an example taken from a recent SC Pick 3:

Evening 7-Feb-09: 9-1-8
Midday 7-Feb-09: 7-8-3

918-783 = 1-3-5
1+17=18, 3+17=20, 5+17=22
Now, we take the numbers and combine them as shown to make the possible winning combinations.
18-3-5 183 185 135 835
1-20-5 120 125 105 205
1-3-22 132 122 322

I hope that all made sense. The winning numbers for evening 8-Feb-09 Pick 3 were 2-3-1, as you can see the system worked. I tried the system Starting around the 6th of February until now, would have had four wins if I was actually playing! Try it out on paper for your state. Who knows, maybe there really is a system out there, besides luck, for winning the lottery!

Pajama Money Attempt 4 - Vending Machines

This is my fourth idea for making 'pajama money', though its probably wise to collect the income in more business/casual like attire than pajamas. For the time and effort it takes to run a vending machine business, its still practically 'pajama money'. I am using http://www.vendingfriends.com/ to get started, going to buy 10 triple head machines, half will have to be paid upfront to cover the cost of the vending machines. The other half will be paid about two weeks later to cover the cost of the locating company.

I'm guessing I should be able to make a modest $30-$40 a month per machine. If the first ten machines get these kind of returns, then my plan is to add ten more a month (discounts are offered for subsequent purchases) until about fifty machines. By December, the machines should be paid off out of the earnings, and hopefully making in excess of $1500 a month. Let's see! My plan is to start small and grow; I hope it works.

I'm still waiting for the HYIP portfolio results, I have made withdrawel requests on a couple of programs. Should be interesting to see if any pay off or not. I'll post results to the original HYIP post.

Also, on the Forex front, FAPTS/FAPTurbo EAs have been pretty consistent in yielding 10-20% weekly returns. Which is great, Piptronic has been an up and down week for me. It certainly has the capacity to make a lot of money, but it can also make huge losses wiping out all the wins. I am still working out the proper settings for the EA, but so far I only plan to trade FAPTS/FAPTurbo on my live accounts in february. I will keep playing with Piptronic though, if I can get it to consistently make money, then I will set it loose as well.

More later,
Pajama Monkey.

Pajama Money Attempt 3 - HYIP Portfolio

Welcome to the world of HYIP investing, is it a scam? Honest business opportunity? Ponzi scheme? Just no way to know, so the key is to diversify and only invest what you are willing to lose... It is also recommended to use a 30-70 rule, withdraw 30% of profits and reinvest 70%, until the program is no longer paying! And also, do your research, I start with
http://hyipbanker.com/ first to check if the program is paying, there are several other HYIP monitoring programs, just use google! I also found
http://rhyker.wordpress.com/fbimonitor/hyip-investments/ to be helpful as well. Hopefully I will see a good ROI!

With that in mind, I have opened a Liberty Researve Account, and used Gold Exchange to buy 500 USD of LR (came to 485 LR USD after exchange fees).

Total HYIP investment: $480 on 29-Jan-09

HYIP (Last Update 18-Feb-09):

$100 > Vitamin M Club > $233.8 on 28-Feb-09
(Paying!, Last Paid: 18-Feb-09, Total Withdrawn: $24.2, Re-invested: $167)
$50 > URInvest > $187.27 on 12-Mar-08 (Waiting)
$25 > Residual Forex Income > $318 on 28-Jul-09 (Waiting)
$100 > ANOI > $12,534.26 on 25-Sep-08 (Waiting)
$50 > Genius Funds > $380 on 8-Oct-09 (Waiting)
$50 > The Stoic > $651 on 22-Oct-09 (Waiting)

$20.5 > WOIP > 1% Daily Compound, can withdraw anytime.

Programs with Problems: (Total Money Lost - $105)
$100 > Hourly Bank > $144 on 30-Jan-09 (Not Paying)
- I can no longer login to the the website, and my email does not show as a registered user. No doubt this one is a scam.
$5 > Power Fund > $40 on 30-Jan-09 (Not Paying)

I'll put the updates to this post, wish me luck!

Automater Forex Trading - Demo Week 2 Update

Here are the week 2 results of the $5k Forex Demo accounts:

Account 1: Interbank FX +1693

Account 2: FXDD +1278

Account 3: FxPro +1441

Not bad huh? After searching around the internet though, I am inclined to use another broker for my second live account, FxOpen. In either case I will go live in February, I'm planning 500 USD each to Interbank FX and FxOpen to start. Stay tuned for the weekly 'live' results!

And some more exciting news, I was perusing the internet (very important in the pursuit of pajama money!) when I found an interesting website: http://www.new-forex-software.com/.

He gave FAPTS and FAPTurbo both a thumbs up, and also recommended two new Forex Expert Advisers, Piptronic ($130) and Pipzu ($100).

So I have added these to my arsenal. I started a new 500 USD Demo account with FxOpen, and was running FAPTS/Piptronic/Pipzu. All I can say is WOW. Piptronic was trading like crazy for two nights in a row and had the account up to $690! Unfortunately, the demo server went down, even as I am writing this its still down, and subsequently the account is blown. If it comes back up, I will restart the simulation and just present three days of data instead of five. I am also continuing the Interbank FX demo, but now with the added power of Piptronic and Pipzu.

Alrighty, so here are my reviews of the automated forex trading robots so far,

FAP was probably one of the originals, it's a bit out of date, but still brings success to many people. It was developed by Marcus Leary. It sold well, but suffered from poor customer support. A Charles A. Floyd, II started a Forex Auto Pilot user group (FAPUG) and later FAPWinner to provide support.

FAPWinner as stated, was started by Charles A. Floyd, II in order to bring customer support to FAP users. Membership to FAPWinner includes the FAPTS Robot, which is basically the same robot, but optimized with Charles' settings. Membership is great, as he provides EA reviews, weekly trading plan updates, mentoring sessions, and a forum. When I joined, new applicants had a choice of Silver, Gold, and Platinum memberships. Membership types have changed since to either supreme (one time fee of $600) or monthly (100 USD + $50/Month for twelve months). Note, FAPTurbo support has also been added! Anyone considering FOREX trading, I highly recommend joining this program, even if you opt against using the EA, the support is well worth it. The community alone will help point you in the right direction for the best EAs, EA settings, and which brokers to use and which to avoid.

FAPTurbo has proven to be an extremely powerful EA, you can check the 'live' results of this robot on three different accounts at the website, really cool! It can be traded on different currency pairs, unlike FAPTS which only trades EUR/USD, and can possibly double an account every month. Purchase of FAPTurbo also includes membership to the FAPTurbo community, where there is very good customer support and a forum. One of the cons I don't like about FAPTurbo is that it can only be activated for one live account, if users wish to use on more than one, then a separate license (at discount) must be purchased for each live account. This is not an issue with any of the other EAs I have purchased; they can be used on any and as many live accounts as one may wish. Another Con of this EA and others like it, though it is not actually the fault of the EAs, is that it is very sensitive to the currency spread. Currency spread is the difference between the bid and ask price of the currency, which is related to the broker, so it is very important to find a decent and honest broker. However, despite the cons, this EA is proving to be one of the most consistent in earnings. As of now the EA retails at $149; however, if you try to exit the website they will offer a $10 discount!

Piptronic WOW, this EA is amazing so far. One thing I like about it, or rather the developer, is NO affiliates! No going to google just to find website after website about how great this EA is from people who don't even use it, they just want the money they get from unsuspecting buyers. I have started a 500 USD Demo account with FxOpen (though the server is down now :() and hopefully by next week I can show off the combine power of Piptronic/Pipzu/FAPTS! There are actually two retail options, Piptronic 1 for $129 or the Advanced Package for $200. The Advanced Package includes three EAs: the original Piptronic 1, Piptronic 2 beta, and Piptronic X. I bought the Advanced Package, all the EAs are designed for the EUR/GBP pair, Piptronic 2 beta is basically the same as the original, except you can modify more settings, such as the trading hours. While I feel the EAs have potential, they are also sensitive to the currency spread and there isn't the support offered like that of FAPTurbo or FAPWinner. Though there are several FAPWinner users currently testing this EA and trying to figure out the best settings.

Pipzu I can't say much about the EA. It has similar features to Piptronic, a trend adapting technology. It is designed to operate on the EUR/USD currency pair and usually only makes 2-3 trades a week due to its market time algorithm; because of this, it is supposed to have least percent of losing trades, we shall see! Also, like Piptronic, I am not aware of any affiliate program. There isn't much support offered for this EA; however, several FAPWinner users are trying this EA out.

Thats all for now, in my coming posts, I will introduce two more methods I have discovered to help me earn 'pajama money'.

Till then, cheers,
Pajama Monkey

Pajama Money Attempt 2 - Six Figure Yearly Program Review - LOL

The Six Figure Yearly Program is ..... LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So its nothing more than a glorified eBook, website is pretty though don't you think? Yeah, it didn't take me long to think this is a waste of money.

Anyways, it will teach you about affiliate marketing and how to become one, have you noticed my clever use of links in my blog posts. I am basically being an affiliate marketer. For many of the links, if anyone clicks on them and ends up buying the product, I get a kick back.

So this website teaches you this, though chances are you already have an idea of how to do this... I'm sure anyone can follow the steps presented and make money, I am also sure this information or better can be found free or cheaper on the Internet.

While proceeding through the program (Web-Based eBook) I was even offerred the opportunity to have a Home Job Research and/or Scam Free Online type review website built for me with all my clickbank affiliate codes embedded for me for 200 USD - http://www.ekohgroup.com/Sites.html. The program then proceeds to give tips on using Pay-Per-Click, yada yada yada...

I'm not saying the techniques wouldn't work though, but that is essentially the program. Already known about techniques. Oh, and if you come across anyone saying its a program that teaches you multiple ways to earn income online (such as managing financial transactions), doesn't appear to be the case. Just a Web-Based eBook on how to become an affiliate marketer...

And, I don't intend to start any of the websites they offer, there are enough like it polluting the internet...

Total 'Pajama Money' Tally:
Six Figure Yearly Program $70 (8-week money back garantee)
Forex Autopilot Robot $100 (8-week money back garantee)
FAP-Winner Group $400 (For Gold Membership)
Total - $570

I found a couple of interesting websites that might be of interest:
http://www.scam.com/ - I will be checking future programs here before purchase when possible
http://www.specialonlinebusinessreviewauthority.com/- This is the place that turned me onto Forex Auto Pilot
